When a role is within our core team, this is typically around 7 days. If the role is more complex or requires a niche skill-set this can often take longer.

Project durations vary depending on the scope and nature of the work, but here are some general trends:

  • Mid-term engagements: 3 – 6 months
Typical for website development, marketing campaigns, product launches, or research projects, event organisation support, maternity leave covers for different roles.
  • Long-term or ongoing work: 6+ months
Often used for roles like virtual assistants, ongoing content creation, bookkeepers, customer support, editorial support, visual communications, or social media managers.

Many of our clients start with a short engagement and extend based on results. We offer flexibility to scale up or down based on your evolving needs.

Our standard payment terms are 10 days from the date of invoice.

We simplify the process for you by managing payments to individual freelancers on your behalf. All freelancers on our platform are self-employed professionals, and we ensure they are paid promptly and in full, without requiring you to handle multiple individual transactions or tax paperwork.

This way, you get a single, consolidated invoice – and we take care of the rest.

We take compliance seriously to protect both our clients and the freelancers we work with. Here’s how we ensure legal and regulatory peace of mind:

  • Verified self-employment status:
All freelancers on our platform are required to confirm and document that they are legally self-employed or operating as independent contractors in their country of residence.
  • Tax and legal declarations:
During onboarding, freelancers must agree to our terms confirming they handle their own tax obligations, insurance, and local legal requirements.
  • Country-specific compliance checks:
As an additional step, we perform additional checks to ensure alignment with local labor and tax regulations – particularly in jurisdictions with strict contractor rules.
  • Centralized invoicing & documentation:
We consolidate freelancer payments and issue one invoice to you. This reduces your administrative burden and ensures transparency in how talent is paid.

By handling these legal and operational aspects, we help you work with global talent confidently – without the risk of misclassification or regulatory issues.
